Introduction of PS' PCB Manufacturing Process
About PCB Manufacturing Process of PS
PCB manufacturing, the stage next to quote in our PCB manufacturing process. We have three PCB factories with about 800 employees. With 26 years of experience, we could do with Rigid Boards, Aluminium Boards, and Flex Boards.
*Advanced automatic machines and professional QC teams ensure our quality,
*Our workers are two shifts to save your time, meet your high requirement on delivery time,
*All our engineers know English well, could understand you well and communicate efficiently.
Components sourcing, which is conducted along with PCB manufacturing. Our procurement teams always keep up with the market & technology trends, they inspect the BOM and then propose the best solution based on rich experience.
*Cost-effective parts bring us with customers, PS relies on the Chinese market while actively builds overseas procurement teams, aims to cut down the costs of our customersand save time,
*100% of the components come from the original factories because we only choose suppliers with authorization,
*100% IQC, regular suppliers review, we will never be careless of quality.
PCB Assembly, the PCB manufacturing process to mount or place electronic components which give the board its functionality. The electronic components can be mounted by manual and automatic techniques, and then they are soldered in place.
We can use different technologies to assemble the electronic components on a board. The main methods include Thru-Hole Technology (THT), Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Mixed Technology.
THT assembly makes use of both manual and automatic processes to place the components on the PCB. Proceed as follows,
Electrical engineers manually place the components on the PCB according to specifications. It has to be done quickly and accurately with full compliance to operation standards or regulations of THT assembly process for proper functioning.
Examining and Correction,
We need to check if all the electronic components on the PCB have been placing accurately. It can be done automatically with using a transport frame. If you find any errors or mistake, the engineers can quickly rectify it.
These electronic components have to be soldered to the board in this step. You can do it manually, but a far more efficient and automated process called Wave Soldering can be used.
SMT is a automatic process of placing or mounting electronic components on a PCB. SMT enables us to speed up the production process, but there are increased chances of defects. For this reason, the process also employs failure detection for creating functional products.
We have to use a solder paste printer to apply solder to the PCB. A solder screen or stencil is used to ensure the proper application of solder at valid points where electronic components will be placed.
A pick-and-place machine is used to mount the electronic components after solder printing. The machine automatically mounts the IC or components through component reels. They components reels are responsible for feeding the components to the machine which are then fixed onto the PCB.
This step uses a specialized oven to harden the solder paste so that the components can be fixed firmly to the board. The PCB is carried inside a series of heaters which raise the temperature of the board to 250 degree Celsius. The high temperature melts the solder on the board.
Next, the PCB moves through a series of cooler heaters which bring down the temperature and help the solder to harden. That adheres all the electronic components firmly to the PCB.
In the modern age, electronic products have increased in complexity requiring the use of different electronic components on PCBs. You will find the use of both THT and SMT technologies in the PCB manufacturing process for the board contains both surface mounted and through-hole components.
What's the lead time?
We can provide PCB design, PCB manufacturing, PCB assembly, separate component sourcing, or a full turnkey service, depending on customer requirements; because they are customized products, the lead times subject to the customer's designs and BOM lists, generally from 1-5 weeks, during which we will keep updating on your PCB manufacturing process progress so that you can schedule the product in advance.
What's the pricing, could I get a sample?
Because PCB and PCBA are highly customized products, so please contact us to get a personal quote. Then request a sample from your sales consultant, which will be quickly checked and replied.
